Re: Kiss Music on the Telly

I remember Sky used 'Raise Your Glasses' as outro music on a 'Super Sunday' Premier League programme after an important live game that shaped destiny of the title

I thought I was genuinely going mad when I couldn't find it on my planner this morning.

Gene in UK at NFL game

Just a heads up that Gene is singing the US national anthem at Wembley Stadium ahead of the NFL fixture between Pittsburgh & Minnesota on Sun Sept 29th.

Remains to be seen what publicity he does aside from this whilst he's here.

Hope everyone's well, by the way :)

Re: KISSinUK Monster Euro Meet Up

Had a brilliant time meeting up with old/new friends from on here and elsewhere. Copenhagen really is a beautiful city - the quietest capital city I think I've ever visited. Nearly mown down several times by killer cyclists, mind... As for the gig? Well... 'Spider rig, spider rig, doesn't do what a ...

Re: Freddie Mercury..

Wembley a year on from Live Aid - INXS being bottled off, The Alarm going down rather better, Quo storming it in the pissing rain...and then Queen. Astounding. I tried my level best to 'singalongafreddie' when that moment came; felt a lump in my throat during 'Who Wants To Live Forever'; clapped lik...

Re: 5 Reasons to Remember Creatures of the Night

Agreed Don - it was a great time to be a KISS fan, what with Entertainment USA clip, the Megastore appearance, COTN single going Top 40 in the UK and all that - the sort of exposure we never seemed to get in the UK. To my mind, mate, here's who played lead guitar on what. COTN - Steve Farris S&S...

Re: 5 Reasons to Remember Creatures of the Night

I listened to that excellent interview with Adam, and whilst I found it fascinating and a great insight, for Adam to say Vinnie wasn't there at all is a little bit of a sweeping statement. We all know that's Vinnie's playing on Saint & Sinner, War Machine & Keep Me Comin' surely? - I can tel...

Re: 5 Reasons to Remember Creatures of the Night

The story I heard about the drums is that they were recorded in a spacious room at first - then the drum tracks were mixed and then said mix was fed through large speakers in a gents bathroom at the studios and that sound re-recorded to give the effect we all now know and love. It's the only KISS al...

Re: Aerosmith Tribute Band (Toxic Twins) Special Appeal

Just to say that there is a possibility of a Toxic Twins show in September at the Diamond, Sutton-In-Ashfield with proceeds going towards Franks Fund.

More details when I get them confirmed from Terri & Frank, but I'm honoured to have been asked to be a part of it.
