Re: Download (holy cow!)

KISS were great, Paul's voice will never be as good as it was pre 2006 but they deserved the headline slot, and I'd definitely catch a couple of dates if they came back to the UK for a proper tour. Motley on the other hand continue to get worse and worse. Vince, IMO,is an utter disgrace; cant be fu*...

Re: NEW KISS BOOK - KICKSTART CAMPAIGN

I pledged in as much as I entered my card details and address, pressed "pledge" but didn't receive kind of confirmation or acceptance. Wasn't asked for an email address - was this the same with you Mr 1969? I received a 'thank you' email that confirmed the amount I'd pledged and what I'd ...

Re: NEW KISS BOOK - KICKSTART CAMPAIGN

Doesn't $100,000.00 seem like a huge budget? That's what I thought but by all accounts his initial run is going to be 3,000 hard backed editions, which seems a little optimistic especially when Monster only sold 57(!), but on top of that I think he's having to spend $200+ for each of the shit load ...

Re: NEW KISS BOOK - KICKSTART CAMPAIGN

Yeah, I pledged $70 which covers the cost of a book and postage to the UK.

Looking at some of the amazing photos he has access to and the years of time he's spent researching, I think it's well worth pledging for.

Re: Shades

Took the train one Saturday and travelled from Norwich to buy Motley Crue's Uncensored VHS only to arrive and find the shop closed. I remember kneeling on the floor and shouting through the letter box to see if I could attract someones attention. Last time I checked it was a hairdressers.

Wish I looked as cool as the model...

Pah! Young people! If it's not slouching and mumbling, it's all beards, ankle length trousers and shoes with no socks.

That's the price you pay for getting rid of the nutters, hey let's get the mad Italian ranter back as well! Demonslouch, or whatever his name was? Yeah him too, the more the merrier, they could be quarantined in a special roped off area and we could vote to let one out now and again. Oh, that...
