Re: First 'celeb crushes'

At first it was Marti Pellow and Morton Harket. Then I saw Nuno for the first time.... Today, Marti's hard living is too much in evidence in his body and looks (his voice is still amazing). Morton and Nuno still have it :D Never really had any actor crushes as a teenager but these days David Tennant...

They are like the size of a 2p piece now... they used to be massive.

I'm sure I've seen packets of Monster Munch recently (possibly the larger grab bag size?) saying they've gone back to the old size.

Re: FM Transmittors?

I had much the same dilema a few years ago when I got sick of lugging CDs out to the car. I looked at all the online info about the FM transmitters and was put off by the issue of changing frequency on long journeys (when I wanted to use it most) - that and the fact that most seemed geared solely to...

Re: Extreme - your thoughts

Extreme - fecking excellent band!!! The first band I saw live, and also the band that got me away from A-Ha and Wet Wet Wet and introduced me to a rock orientated sound. Yes, More Than Words is pants - I skip past it whenever it comes on my MP3 player, but other than that I'll listen to every other ...

Remembering July 7 2005

A permanent memorial to the 52 people who lost their lives in the tube and bus bombings in London on July 7 2005 has been unveiled in Hyde Park.

I look forward to visitng this and paying my respects the next time I am in London.

Re: Michael Jackson suffers heart attack RIP

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread but I think it is time to lay it to rest just as MJ himself is due to be laid to rest in LA later today.
For this reason the thread will now be locked.

What is the best kind of M&M?

One of the manager's has just returned to work from 3 weeks in Florida and has brought back the obligatory holiday chocolates. Amongst the goodies on offer are my favourite M&Ms of all time - peanut butter. This prompted me to ask that all important question - what is your favourite kind of M&am...

Re: The weather

I don't mind the warm weather. It's just annoying when the temperature is so high at night that people think it is OK to have a party in their garden on a week night at which they decide to break out the drums and trumpets at 10pm and are still playing them at gone 11pm when I'm trying to sleep in t...

An excuse to visit Edinburgh

Hey all, I'm issuing a general invite to all you lovely Kissinuk folks to visit Edinburgh in July. What's the occasion? Well, I've chosen a date to have a flat warming party (only 11 months after I moved in). With Mark & Diane having to cancel their yearly house party I've chosen to nick their d...

I will have to look into a cheap flight for this - a chance to see my favourite tribute band (and some others) rock out at the NEC? Not likely to miss that!!

Re: Quantam Leap

On a similar note, I've been watching my way through the 3 series of " Millenium " and saw the " Thirten years later " episode last night. This, as you know, features our boys in (ahem!) "acting " roles and a staged live performance of "Psycho Circus ". It's ...
