Black Veil Brides and Reckless Love.

Reckless Love are back in the UK next week. They are 3rd on the bill to Black Veil Brides with a band called D.R.U.G.S on second. Anyone like the other two? I like Reckless Love but from what I've heard on Youtube the others are not my sort of thing. BVB are a kind of emo/goth thing that look like S...

L.A. Guns and Vain in UK.

Not together but both bands are going to be in the UK in March. Vain are doing 7 shows. Their latest album Enough Rope is very good. Hope to catch them live this time. L.A. Guns are only doing 2 shows. Don't know enough about them and not sure what the current line up is. Always seem to get 'em mixe...

Re: Van Halen A Different Kind of Truth Review

It's brilliant. Buy it.

If you like hard rockin' Van Halen - get it.

Re: Motley Crue & Steel Panther,Def Leppard

Before I went I wouldn't have given Steel Panther the time of day, but, I thought they were absolutely great. Won me over completely. Fantastic entertainment. Motley Crue were terrible... for the first few songs. I didn't even know they were playing Live Wire, my girlfriend couldn't tell they starte...

Reckless Love - UK tour

Saw them last night in Manchester. Had a great time. The band were on fire and seemed genuinely touched by the reception from the crowd. We were all singing along to every word and it almost seemed like a greatest hits show. A couple of technical problems threatened to derail the show, but with song...

Re: Reckless love new album

New album is bloody good. I only recently got the first album but now I love this band. Both albums have some really great stuff on them. Really takes me back to the 80's, lots of influences that I like ranging from KISS, Van Halen, Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Bon Jovi. Animal Attraction has a son...

Re: What are you listening to right now (cont again)...?

Motley Crue - Saints of LA and most of the back catalogue in anticipation of the show.

Must admit though that one of my favourite Crue albums is the self-titled one with John Corabi. Very underrated album I think.

Re: Def Leppard/Motley Crue/Steel Panther UK tour...

Tickets arrived today for Manchester. Still waiting for Sheffield tickets. Never seen the Crue before, hope they bring a massive show with them - and also play more songs than they have been playing recently - about 11 songs and a drum and guitar solo. Def Leppard are currently doing 15 and a bass s...

Given up on Nostradamus and listening to Angel of Retribution instead.

Judas Rising is one of my favourite Priest songs.

Judas Priest - Nostradamus.

It's hard work but I'm gonna stick with it and hope some of the songs start to kick in.

Re: Jovi To Tour Without Sambora...

I think this has been on the cards for a while. Theres no reason for Bobby Bandiera to be there unless Jon thinks Richie can't handle it. This could be the first sign of Richie's eventual exit.

If Richie isn't at some shows then expect safer than normal set-lists.

Re: Rise of the PLANET OF THE APES

That does look pretty good.

But it can't be as good as Planet of the Apes the musical.

Dr Zaius, Dr Zaius - Dr Zaius (to the tune of Rock Me Amadeus) and the classic ' From chimpan-a to chimpanzee, well they finally made a monkey outta' me'.

c/o The Simpsons.

Re: NEW Whitesnake

Totally agree about the guitar sound.

A lot of the rockers on the album sound the same and also similar to stuff on Good To Be Bad, which is a real shame as it makes some songs just filler material.

There is quite a few good songs on Forevermore, I would recommend it.
