Marky Ramone

Just read that Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg with Michale Graves from The Misfits on vocals are playing the Brum Academy on the 25th June and the Islington Academy the following night.

I've got my London ticket and am pondering a trip the Brum too.

Nothing that really grabs me so far but I enjoyed the festival so much last year I'm sure I'll be there.

Re: Best Album of 2010?

I'd have to agree with you there my Saxon stalkin' chum, though i'd say the Black Veil Brides and Avenged Sevenfold albums were also some of the top releases of 2010.

Re: What are you listening to right now (cont again)...?

Nightmare, the new Avenged Sevenfold CD has captured my attention. Been playing it constantly in the car. It's more Metallica rather than the Maidenisms of the previous albums....... just better!

Re: First live gig you ever went to....

I have to admit the first 3 Marillion albums are some of my guilty pleasures. I saw them early on and though they were boring as hell but I was a little Maiden boy at the time so I guess I didn't really appreciate it.

Re: High voltage festival

I really enjoyed Saxon, Gary Moore, UFO & Quireboys. Foreigner were very good though I only saw half the set. Heaven & Hell's set seemed like a singer audition to me rather than a tribute to Dio. I though ZZ Top were okay but got bored after half an hour and left. There were tons of BLS shir...

Found this that backs up that I saw them with Little Angels at St Davids Hall as suspected.

Re: Ozzy- Complete 'Scream' album streaming @ myspace

I listened it on the train to work today and it reminded me of Alice's Brutal Planet with that Carnival of Souls type production. The title track is okay though.
I've got myself an Ozzfest ticket but have never really been an Ozzy fan.

Re: who have you met (famous)

Best rock star meet was Jerry Only from the Misfits...... He was signing a Japanese action figure for someone and afterwards Jerry and I were talking about it. He asked me if I had one and I said they were too expensive for me. He took my address and actuallu mailed me one for free when he got back ...
