I agree with you that the cost of fuel is high, but remember the fuel duty escalator isn't there anymore - with that you would be paying even more. The point about fuel goes beyond car drivers. Logistics is about 90% of the cost of goods, a fair part of that is fuel, so the more tax there is on fuel...

That stat is a straight line it doesn't take growth into account.

Benefit dependency was the biggest issue raised with me in 2010 when I stood as a candidate, it is being tackled, but it is interesting the media flak we have taken for trying to deal with something that is a huge issue for people.

TBH, Pleased that Chelsea have won hat given the disaster that has been the English European Campaigns this year. Almost wish Fat Frank's shot that hit the bar had won it, it deserved to.

Now, I hope they party from now until Sunday!!!

There is a difference between a poor tackle, which although they can be life changing are, for the most, incompetence and poor timing rather than malice. Albeit, Ryan Shawcross has a history of poor timed, incompetent challenges and deserves a life time ban :-) Personally, I think 10 is about right....
