Lars took drum lessons around the black album i belive, he can be very hit and miss as a player but i do like his work on the Death Magnetic release a lot.Dave Lombardo is a classic thrash drummer and has a lot of speed but neither of them play as well as Rob Reiner of Anvil in my opinion
