Chris Denning, Tam Paton, Derek Longmuir, Jonathon King... just some of the ones that have already been done. Plenty more to be convicted yet.

Prong 'Carved Into Stone' - a real return to form, best album they've done in years.

Re: Van Halen playing with heads...............!

Well, 'Tattoo' is the worst track on the album IMO.

Terrible title, but 'Blood & Fire' is awesome.

I'm not a fan, but not many bands could pull off a Pyromania / Hysteria double-whammy (83 to 88). That's a pretty 'classic' five years in anyone's book, surely?

Re: Van Halen playing with heads...............!

Sounds like a demo that should never have made it to the album. It says much that Dave's dance moves are WAY more impressive than the song.

And EVH is starting to resemble Adam Bomb!

Re: Live Gigs.....

eBay is partly to blame. If a band sits around for a few hours dashing off a hundred or so 'free' autographs they, sadly, know that 90 of them will end up on eBay making the sellers money for nothing. From that point of view, it's not surprising (or unreasonable) that the whole dynamic has changed. ...

Re: lest we forget

Had to be in the town centre today for a meeting and was horrified to see almost everyone standing still and respecting the 2 minute silence... apart from a certain number of people. All of a certain 'type'. I'm sure you can guess what 'type' that was. Bastards.

Re: should you have the right to defend your own home ....

Its law in the us, australia and every other nation where you can dispose of society's wankers for trespassing on your private property. Only here do these scumbags have more rights and pathetic nose poker inners defending them. Agreed. The law in this country is bad enough as it is, but the interp...

He told the BBC people were entitled to use "whatever force necessary" to protect themselves and their homes. Great! Finally, we have the upper hand. Well done Ken. Mr Clarke said legal protection would not extend to anyone shooting a burglar in the back when they were fleeing or "ge...

Re: Cinderella Live @ Shepherds Bush Empire (25/06/11)

I'd actually love to see Kiss bring over bands like Cinderella when they tour the UK/Europe. It's such a shame that a massive band like Kiss, who could almost choose any band to support, almost always bring over exceptionally uninteresting/disappointing supports.

I was quite surprised to note it's the full original line-up. Also saw that Gary Corbett is their live keyboard player.

Re: should you have the right to defend your own home ....

Unfortunately, it's not the right move to allow anyone to do anything to anyone who enters their home. However, the law - and especially judges - do need to have it made clear to them what 'reasonable force' constitutes. At the moment, the law - and especially judges - appears to hold a very differe...
