Great stuff.
The girl with make-up on the front row with the guitar seems to have made the same mistake I made a few years ago. While it looks fantastic in the mirror while your putting on the make-up, not so good to other people looking at you.

Dave is great. Seen Van Halen twice, both shows with Sammy. Enjoyed them but really, Van Halen's gotta have Dave at the front.
Hope they do a U.K. tour next year.

Re: What are you listening to right now (cont again)...?
Bon Jovi - New Jersey. Haven't heard it in a few years. The intro to Lay Your Hands On Me is one of the best intro's ever to an album. I think.
Quality of the songwriting on this album is top notch. Definately Bon Jovi's best album.

Whiresnake. Yeah I love that footage. Wish they would put some dvd's out of old footage, like a Whitesnake -ology.
Love to see that Motley Crue stuff as well.

Re: Reg Varney Dead!!!!
Reg Varney was one of the greats.
I remember On The Buses from being a kid, he really held that show together. He left for a while and the show went downhill.
Stan and Jack were a great partnership, even when Jack was in it for himself. Nicking Stan's bird in one of the films.
Great stuff.

Not a Moby fan, at all, but Extreme Ways from the Bourne films is pretty good.
But probably my favourite movie song is 'Blaze Of Glory' by Jon Bon Jovi.

Re: Do you still love football?
Has anyone seen that 'Mitchell And Webb' sketch about football? It's like a Sky Sports advert but it really sums up the current state of football, and how Sky seem to have ruined it. Very, very funny. It's on youtube if you want to see it. Just look for Mitchell And Webb football football football :...

Re: Forgotten albums
Lynch Mob- Wicked Sensation.
I remember getting that album and not really liking it, apart from the title track. Probably compared it to Dokken too much ( who were one of my favourite bands), and thought it didn't hold up.
Going to dig it out and listen to it with fresh ears.

Whitesnake 2008 is a great band.
Loved 'Good To Be Bad', think all the musicians are top notch, enjoyed the tour with Def Leppard. Hope they can do a more extensive tour on their own soon. Then release more music.

Whitesnake- Vai?
Just been watching 'Slow And Easy' from 1990 with Steve Vai on guitar. I think he murders the song by the constant soloing. But I was wondering what happened after the album and tour. How did he and Whitesnake part company and do both parties look on the collaboration fondly, or was it a moment to f...

Re: Forgotten albums
I listened to Pride- White Lion last week. Haven't heard it since the early 90's. Really good record. Forgot how good to be honest. Vito Bratta was/is a fine guitar player. Unfortunately sort of lost interest in the band because of the follow up, Big Game. Quite a poor return. Could have been huge i...

Re: John Sykes bashes Old Cov!
The 1987 album is one of my favourite albums. I don't think Whitesnake have done anything as good since, but Good To Be Bad is a great album as well. Certainly my favourite album of the last couple of years. Also saw Whitesnake twice this year and thought they were great both times. So I would say M...

A classic that always makes me smile-

I'm a Capricorn and she's a Cancer."

Re: Overrated?
The whole grunge thing passed me by. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, I just don't get those bands at all.
Currently Nickelback I think are so overrated. One of those 'rock' bands that people like who aren't rock fans.
