He is vehemently denying it on Twitter this evening.

It would be odd if Skid Row filled the special guest slot with their current line up. I mean, I know there's the McGhee connection but they're currently playing dates in the US below Cinderella, Ratt and Queensryche.

Sonisphere ... here i come.

Accom for this little bash is tight and expensive (thanks Olympics and hotels cashing in - the hotel i've used for the last three Sonisphere's has marked up £200 on a twin room).

Would do a pre-sale - but i've forgotten my password and i let the membership run out

Day ticket i think ... travel to a nearby services (station) - kip in car on the Thurs night - get to gig on the Fri - see KISS :D get out of car park  - travel to services station - kip in car then - then travel the rest of the journey on the Sat morning.

I did see Queen at Knebworth in 1986 - but with only two members that i last saw them - sorry Taylor n' May - i ain't there.

I am really going to struggle to make this because my mate is getting married the day after !!!!
Have broached the subject of driving back to Wrecsam straight after the show with the good lady wife, but got a glare that would stop a polar bear attack!! Leave show 11ish, at least an hour to get out of car park, 4 hour drive, home for 5ish, wedding another hours drive away at 2.00pm. Do-able!

Wrecsamfan .... my plan is to kip at Toddington services on the M1 .... then it's plain sailing up the M1, M6 (M54, A5, and small A roads west of Shrewsbury).

I'm very excited. Just have to hope that day tickets are still available in a months time. Really can't afford this right now...
