Went into local shop yesterday ... bought the ordinary cd, the 3d sleeve and the vinyl.
Slightly costly, but hey - i'm olde skool ... the record shop guy and I have known each other since 1982 - he mentions some promo swag coming

Just had an email from Vinyl Japan, saying my Jap ltd ed is on it's way.

A former forumee helped me get the pic disc - that is on the way.

The only version i'm waiting for now is the Chikara's Canadian import.

Came to daddy, my beauties :-)

Got my versions today (Tuesday 9th October) from Amazon UK, not bad as I didn't pay any postage. Seems like it's been a bit of a lottery post wise with this CD, wonder if the problem was with late supplies from Universal rather than a retailers botch? Still even if this was so they should have e-mailed customers if they knew the deliveries would be late.
Anyhow it is great to have the physical CD at last. The 3D cover/sticker version is awesome, and despite all the moans about the design I think overall the booklet/album sleeve works pretty well. The cost of production on the sticker version must have severely cut into the profit per unit on the album so Universal must have faith in it getting decent sales. I'm still waiting on my "zinepak" version from wow hd so can't comment on that yet.
The album actually gets a good review from Rolling Stone which is amazing considering their history, but it is well deserved.

Totally agree! The choice of album cover makes so much more sense when you seen the actual product. Love it!

I pre-ordered from amazon when it first came available for pre-order (free super saver delivery). I thought I might save that one for a birthday present and ordered the 3D version for myself Saturday dinner (paid for first class postage). Both arrived Monday - I guess it's luck of the draw. No doubt if it had been a "big band" like JLS, everyone would have received on the day of release.
