Listened to Space Invader by Ace

Postby Ray The Tongue » Thu Jul 24, 2014 9:01 am

Just finished reviewing Ace's new album for Fireworks magazine.
Must say its his best work in quite some time, by far better than Anomaly and as good as anything Kiss have released of recent i think. It seems he has spent more time on the song arrangements, and he has delivered some cool guitar solos too.
Best songs would be Space Invader (strong chorus, great guitar solo)-Toys(sounds like an early Frehleys Comet song)-Change(killer riff)-What Every Girl Wants-Gimme A Feeling
I would rate it 7 out if 10, and by comparison its a blend of Trouble Walking and the Frehleys Comet debut musically, only the lame cover of Steve Millers 'The Joker' lets Space Invader down in my opinion,i would rather he took a song from the Unmasked album and revamped that.

feel free to feel offended, cyber-bullied, put out, outside of the clique, side-lined, marginalised or just generally have the piss taken out of. However it's a JOKE!-Nick's Mirth World!

"Toys" is a really old song...I've got it on a live tape from about '85-ish...(or there abouts)
Ziggy played guitar...or was it Ronson?

Like 'sister' which was played live for years before being recorded.
