Chance of indoor UK dates/one-off

Postby deckard » Sat Nov 22, 2014 10:30 am

Wondered what the chances of them announcing a separate uk arena tour, or even a one-off gig are? I know in the past the trend has been to do the festivals, then announce a indoor tour for the autumn? It would be good to know before committing to a Download day ticket.

This is only my opinion… it is neither right nor wrong (but my lovely wife tells me I'm always wrong)!

I hope for some indoor Uk dates but after the Monster Tour and the bypass of the UK then its not looking good..... I am going to Download and maybe some euro dates...

Funny thing is when they toured the Sonic Boom tour 2010 and announced the first run of dates Glasgow, Manchester and the first London date they sold well so why not just do 2 or 3 dates as well as download???

I reckon they'll have committed to do no more uk dates to get top billing at download.
Plus it's easy money for them to just do 1 show and get out again.
It makes sense to do two or three others whilst the equipment's in the country but i can't see it...

No chance of a Wembley show between Verona on the 11th and Download on the 14th, either way.

Of course they could play a different venue, but I doubt it.

Spain dates added today. Suspect something may well be added.

Has anyone been to Download before? Been to a few festivals, but always given that one a miss, looks so much bigger than Leeds etc.

If they can put Switzerland in on the 10th, then they can surely put something in for us between Italy on the 11th and Download on the 14th, rolling stage construction etc...?

I'm aware of offers being made for another UK show, but nothing has been signed and it might not turn into anything. I definitely wouldn't use it as a reason not a book a Euro show.
