Surely you don't expect him to give a price and put off 99.8% of all possible buyers?

£50,000 for Gene to deliver it to you personally and spend two hours with you. He will price most Kiss fans out of being able to afford this box set. I have no doubt some people will purchase but it's not on my list of got to buy Kiss items. Demos can be interesting but how many of the 150 tracks will be good songs. That said Gene has a habit of pulling it out of the bag.
I would still be really interested to hear a review of the product if anyone decides to purchase.

If they were any good they would have been used at the time. They didn't make the grade then & Gene hasn't used them on the last couple of albums so that tells it all...would still like to have one though. I was expecting a minimum £10k...but 50!!!

Some songs that Kiss have thrown away over the years were better than included album songs.JMO. Time traveller,Sword and stone,Its my life spring to mind.

If he sells 20 @ £50000 he banks a million. I would think someone has backed him on this venture. I hope it's a success, hopefully after the first run he will do a cheaper version for us peasants.

Am I wrong in hoping that because Gene is coming to the UK next year that he may play a solo show. I am sure he could play a small club show, fingers crossed :D The set lists for his U.S.shows have been interesting.

I am! I was tossing it over and over in my head since it was announced being as it is the only affordable option LOL!!!

It'll be cool to hear workings of songs from the more obscure albums like Revenge, Creatures, Unmasked etc so that's how I've justified it ha ha!!!

On the homepage now, there's a 2 minute teaser of various songs from the boxset. The quality is surprisingly good for their age, and just from the brief snippets you can hear of about 8 songs (most of which I've never heard anyway) they sound better than the songs that made on onto the albums weirdly to my ear! That's got me pumped now anyway!

genesimmonsvault.com - the player on the immediate left hand side. Well worth having a listen $-)
