There is a an article with a couple of pictures in tonights London Evening Standard. There is a picture of Phil who sold his spare ticket to Chris (TSTB) who was right at the front. There is also a small article int his weeks Kerrang about theh American Makeover performance.

I'm ruined!

So, now I've got to face a cold hard fact...

Every gig I ever go to from now on is never going to be as good as that...

Stunned!

:D

I've got loads of real close up video too, but the sound (as expected) is buggered...

On digital spy

Kiss were reportedly forced to cut short a gig in London last night due to breathing difficulties inside the venue.

According to Gigwise, the band issued a statement following the performance that stated the show's problems were caused by malfunctioning CO2 canisters used to blast confetti during their signature track 'Rock and Roll All Nite'.

Frontman Paul Stanely revealed that the mishap, which occurred 12 songs into the band's set, was "pretty scary".

"Once the confetti cannons went off, we barely made it off stage. Each of us thought we were the only one until we saw each other," he said.

The intimate show at the Islington Academy was intended as a warm-up for their upcoming European tour.

Despite the technical problems, Stanley described the gig as an "amazing night that left many breathless".

Maybe I was lucky, I must have been the closest person in the venue to the ones on the left...

I've finally got over the shock of last night's gig and well..... not much more I can say that all have said!

Great to spend this part of 'KISSTORY' with many good friend's and I feel privileged to be part of them.

Thank's Glammy for the pick, Billy Mercury for not wearing a cravat (shame about the vest), Chris and Don for being the usual "mint" piss takers that they are, Billy for being well...Billy!, Gary and Ian checking out the KISS tribute competition on stage that night..... the list goes on!

Regarding the Gig, all this talk about Paul's voice being dodgy..... CRAP! He was enjoying every minute and sounded like he could not wait for the summer tour to begin.

Gene, looked as demon like as always! However he did look like he was suffering from the heat/sweat later on in the set, but that normal is'nt it?!!

Eric and Tommy, did their jobs which is what they are there to do, this was the Gene and Paul show!

It was fu*king 'Sound'!!

I think the Simmons pick is somewhere in Angel station, must have fallen out when I got my ticket out. I'm fuct if I can find it anwhere. Unless Glammy Dave's brother never gave it back...?

Just a wonderful day and night.

I don't see it mentioned anywhere here, but Kiss did come on to Led Zep's Rock and Roll. Also Paul had the lyrics to 'Say yeah' written on the floor in front of him, very spinal tap!
