I'd have a crack too but I can't play the drums...

Good luck with the future Ian..

I asked the surgeon if I would be able to play the drums once my broken leg had healed, he said he couldn't see why not. Excellent !!! I couldn't before !!!! :D

I'm on me way to the cloakroom now. :(

You cant mow the lawn without falling over and breaking some limbs,so if you play drums you fall of the drum stool and break more limbs...

Ian,

Sad to see you go. Sad I can't make the Norwich gig too - I am at Hard Rock Hell.

This is sad news in a way but understandable in another, sad for me that i won't see ian on the drums with dtk again - my visits to see the band have unfortunately stopped in the last year or so due to having no spare cash to see any band let alone dtk, however real work comes first so fair enough, i do hope the lads continue as i was hoping that next year to try to re-structure my "luxury" finances to allow me to see them at a few midlands gigs, Ash,Gary,Dan, do a fantastic job along with all the ex members Dave/Trev/Rich and soon to be Ian -hopefully the band continues good luck Ian as you say maybe it isn't farewell jus t.t.f.n. 3-)

Sad news Ian but understandable. You're an amazing drummer and exceptional vocalist. Whoever fills your boots has got a tough act to follow.
All the best mate.

sorry to hear that Ian
hey! why don't we put back together Hotter than Hell mack2 we could call it Crazy Nights and do just like the Animalize tour type of set no make-up just some costumes along the lines of what they had
or something along those lines for a blast no heavy trip...
We can just do friday shows and one off's everynow and then or weekends like we used to do when they turned up.
I'm sure Trev would be all for it sure would be a blast, you know play a gig have a beer hang out with the lads down at the local pub ha...ha...ha...
At least i could come up the UK and have a laugh every now and then
playing in Hotter than Hell after you guys left was like getting a tooth pulled every gig no fun what so ever!!!

see ya rockon!!

That's a real shame Ian, albeit an understandable decision I s'pose...I look forward to a) Catching up somewhere and b) Seeing whoever gets the job!
