Dressed To Kill Summer / Autumn shows

Postby Father Jack » Sun Jul 10, 2011 3:42 pm

Time to get your diaries out as we'll be back on the road again very soon for the second half of our 21st Anniversary year shows.

Fri Aug 26 - CARDIFF - The Globe
Sat Aug 27 - BIRKENHEAD - Revolver

Fri Sept 30 - KIRKWALL - Fusion
Sat Oct 1 - DUNDEE - Doghouse
Fri Oct 14 - GRIMSBY - Yardbirds
Sat Oct 15 - SUTTON IN ASHFIELD - The Diamond

Fri Nov 11 - NEWCASTLE - Legends
Sat Nov 12 - GLASGOW - Garage

Fri Dec 9 - WITNEY - Fat Lil's

And for those interested in making the trip to Norway for the Eric Carr Memorial Expo:
Sat Dec 10 - JEVNAKER, NORWAY - Untouchables Rock Club
More info regarding the show can be found here: http://www.untouchables.no/index.php
We are currently finding out ticket prices and the best hotel options as near to the venue as possible. As soon as the info is available I'll post it up here.

Furthermore, DTK will very soon have their own app available for the android & iphones. Its in the development stages at present and should be free (or an extremely minimal cost) to download. For obvious reasons there will be no music on the app, but there will be plenty of other stuff. Plus we will be running regular competitions for free tickets etc, exclusively through the app.
We'll let you know exactly when it goes live and would hope a fair few of you on here will download it as well as make it to one of the shows in the forthcoming months.

Yes we did talk about it ages ago. Things like this are an absolute pain to get off the ground unless you know exactly what it is your doing or you are willing to shell out a small fortune to get someone else who knows what they're doing to sort it out for you. Luckily we've got Woodlouse on board who's doing a great job and whatever he doesn't know his mate does.
Crewe is pencilled in for early next year. We've been playing venues once a year as we'd rather play to a full house, and in turn this helps the venue with extra revenue and profits.
The minimal cost (if there is one) of the app will be going directly to "Help For Hero's" if we can get something set up with them via paypal or some other means of instant transfer when the app is downloaded.

Will this be part of the Garage's annual Monster of Mock show or a gig on your own?

The Glasgow show is our own this time. We're just sorting out two great bands to support us & then we'll be blitzing everywhere with promo. Ticket details for that show & all 2011 dates will be up on our website (and app) very shortly.
