Hi,

I know this should probably be in the trade section, but that area doesn't get updated that often. If anyone has a DVD version of the JeanCover Design multicam of Birmingham 2010, could someone PLEASE give me a PM so we can do some business, as I REALLY would love this show.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for getting back. I PMd Jean directly where they/she? said to send them my DVD list, I did that and haven't had anything back since. So just thought I'd see if anyone here could help.

Hi

There was nothing I did not have on your list.
I also told you I would not accept money.

I did sent you the links for free. Like I did to everyone that asked.
So if you would just pass these links to somebody that can download/burn them
if you are not comfortably yourself. You are done.

There is no need for you to spent money on something you can get for free

Jean

I'm going to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE thank you to Jean. The quality of the the Birmingham show you have put together is outstanding. I haven't watched it all yet but probasbly about half of it and the effort you have put in is clearly evident. The variety of camera angles and the way you have sensibly spliced them together makes for a very very pleasurable watch. You have clearly been given some quality footage to work from as well so whoever helped out by supplying this then thanks to you as well!

I was at this show with my young kids and they are chuffed to have a great visual memory of the show, having already bought the live audio for the gig as well.

Currently downloading it myself and can't wait to see it. It's the only Kiss show I've been to so it will be great to be able to re-live it. The live audio of it is the most listened to album in my iTunes  It's great to see someone putting effort into something like this just to share it with other fans without expecting anything in return.

"Jean" is the French name version for "John" (Jean/John/Jan/Juan etc). French female names are either obvious, or ending on "e" when there is a male/female version of that name (Jean/Jeanne fi), which quite common in the French language. So he is a guy for sure. NĂ´tre Jean est un vrai homme, n'est pas Jean? So beware you British males if you are chatting with what you think is a hot French chick name "Jean" fi. You will get more than you bargained for!

Btw Jean, do you have Oberhausen 2010 in the works?

Yes, I am working on Oberhausen.
And yes, last time I looked, I was still a guy

Haven't watched the whole thing yet as I'm currently burning disc two but watched the first few songs on disc 1 to test it. I have to say it is fantastic, just a shame no one filmed Paul between songs. Quality looks very good for something filmed on phone cameras (with the exception of one or two low-res shots). Can't wait to watch the whole thing through now :D

The less in between song Paul screeches the better :D

It's just that the screen goes blank in between some songs (finally got round to watching the rest of disk 1 and there is some footage shot of Paul between some of the songs though). Other than that and some of the super low-res shots (such as one of the cameras in Deuce) the quality is fantastic (for stuff filmed on camera phones). Another downside (for me at least) is that the DVD is a bit dodgey in my DVD player (with massive frame rate drops every so often). Haven't tested it on my PS2/PS3 yet but it does run fine on my macbook, so I can only watch it on a small (13 inch) screen (unless it does work fine on the PS2/PS3).

Indeed there are a few times that I did not have footage of Pauls raps. But to make it complete, I left in the audio.
All in all you will miss about two 2 minutes.
As stated on the back of the artwork: due to lack of.... I had to use lossy stuff, simply: there was nothing else available.

But all in all I think it came out pretty good for the sources I had to work with.
Wembley came out even better! No lossy sources nor gaps.
The disc issue is a bit strange though, let me know if it runs on your PS2/PS3 or try burning it again at a slow speed.
