The ONE Psycho Circus show in the whole of the UK, at Wembley, had tickets for sale on the door on the night of the gig...my (then) girlfriend came with me at the last moment and bought one.
Reunion tour 1996 the UK was the only country in Europe NOT to sell out all shows...![]()
Finsbury Park, last show on the Reunion tour, only 10,000 tickets sold...according to staff I spoke to on the day.

I heard it was 14,000 for Finsbury Park...![]()
Shame really because if they do come back it's likely to be a London only show...

RippingFleshFromBone wrote: Well some of the event staff said they had sold 8,000!!!
Regardless 8,000 - 14,000 is a VERY disappointing turnout, especially when the capacity for Finsbury is (I think) between 30,000 - 35,000. I can understand why KISS aren't that keen to play the UK with ticket sales that poor...BUT what with the rave reviews of Download there is a real probablity that, with all the new fans they seem to have won over, I could see one date at the O2...or them booking 2 dates at Wembley...announce one and if it sells out then announce the second. As much as I'd love to see a Manchester, Newcastle or Glasgow date, or dates!, I can't in all honesty see it. Hope I'm wrong tho...!!

It most prob will be London, if they do it.

Pete wrote:As stated previously the show at MEN arena (or then NYNEX) was the first time a half stage/auditorium (sp) had been used for a band (I was told anyway!).
At the time this sounded quite depressing, but you have to remember that the NYNEX had only been open a year (I think) so that's not too bad I guess really, considering I've seen loads of bands there with a half stage set up since 1996.
I hope if Kiss do return they do major UK arena in London AND some regional theatre shows, like in Australia a few years back...

Funny thing i cant really remember the Nynex/MEN being empty for KISS!! (Unlike the NEC in 92)!
However I saw Deep Purple and Styx (Poor bastards were NOT appreciated by the Purple fans) There and they had a quarter set up..! The stage was set half way down and the top tier was closed too..!!
Motley crue only sold out the bottom tier
Rush last year had a black curtain across the rear section..
however a few years ago I saw Busted sell out 3 nights..!! Rock N Roll!!
