Tattoos!

Post by matty_kissarmy »

Probably a random thing to put on here but I got more kiss tattoos on my lower arm yesterday, and my tattoo artist tells me just to clean it 3 times a day and don't use any lotion at all until all the scabIng is over and has all fell off, but now I have people telling me it is ridiculous not to moisturise a tattoo, so I am stuck on what to do, any advice or experiences?

For my last tattoo, I washed it in warm water, then went with a tattoo aftercare cream, kept applying it was often as I could. Never had a moments bother with it.

Bepanthen (sic?) Nappy Rash Cream is the best stuff to use.
Wash with soap at least twice a day and pat dry, then gently apply the cream.
I wore an old shirt while the cream was on - I got a nice Turin Shroud style Paul Stanley on my sofa once....

Trust me - this stuff is the bomb for tatts!

Ha ha, the hotel I was staying at in Devon a couple of months ago had a reversed KISS logo on its pillows

But yes, I agree about Bepanthen, used twice a day and didn't get any scabs at all.

You need to upload your pictures to an image hosting site (Photobucket etc). Then copy the img link into a new post.
