Resistance fall of man 1,2 and 3 being pulled offline

According to reports Sony are ending the online part of RFM in march. Really don't know why when games like wipeout hd have hardly anybody playing it while Resistance still has plenty of online activity . So the question is this can it really be true are they about to pull the plug on a very successful franchise such as this, or is it really just a rumour .

Yes it's true, Sony wants all gamers to put some trousers on, stop eating Pringles all day, and go outside and get some fresh air.
