Re: dont you love the f.a cup
Best team won,at leats the red fans on here can admit to it!
As ive already stated Rafa needed to go a long time ago,the Alonso and Keane sagas should have rung the alarm bells!!Unfortunately it would appear it will cost Pool a fortune to bin him,so the club are somewhat left in limbo.Do they sell Gerrard and Torres and try to rebuild with a new manager or do they allow the current mess to continue....Obviously there are a lot more clubs worse off than Liverpool but for them to be able to keep attracting the big players they have to maintain Champions League football......
Anyhow im a Rovers fan what do i know

Blimey! A Rovers fan speaking sense!
BTW. Why was there this much fuss when Leeds beat the Mancs?

Re: dont you love the f.a cup
On last nights showing we want to be praying Hull, Sunderland, Bolton, Wigan, Stoke, et al don't start picking things up or we'll be in serious trouble. I tihnk consolidating a place in the Premiership should be our main priority now because European football seems lightyears away at this rate.crad wrote:I hope villa win, more games means more chance liverpool have of getting 4th spot
Re: Don't you love the F.A. cup
the other problem liverpool have is they are dependant on gerrard and torres , and now with torres out for another 6 weeks i am reallty starting to think top 4 is beyond their reach, and financially this will be terrible for liverpool. when your season is over in jan you know you have problems. rafa has to go for them to go forward but they cant afford to pay him off

Re: Don't you love the F.A. cup
The season was over in Oct to be fair and instead of wasting money on the likes of Johnson & Christina Aquilani they should have paid Rafa off and got Mourinho in.
Re: Don't you love the F.A. cup
Actually the season ended in August after defeats to Spurs & Villa. You can't lose two out of three of your opening games in the PL and expect to compete for the league. Sad but true.Father Jack wrote:The season was over in Oct to be fair and instead of wasting money on the likes of Johnson & Christina Aquilani they should have paid Rafa off and got Mourinho in.
Anyway this is from the daily nazi so how true it is I don't know but... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... p-job.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Don't you love the F.A. cup
Well, if its in the daily nazi then it has to be true. I didn't see any statement from Hiddink saying he'd jump at the Liverpool job, but hey, I wouldn't stop him !!
Its upsetting to actually read an ex-LFC player condemn the team & its manager, only because the reality of what I have thought for some time has finally hit home as Ive now seen it in print.
Still, we've been saying it for quite some time. The players are clueless and shouldn't be representing a club in league football and for far too long we have relied on one player, (now two players) to win games for us. It has to stop and something has to change.

I wouldn't usually join in with footie chat, but just saw this on twitter...
"paul hart for liverpool job. rafa benitez for QPR job."
