And so they should.
This is the only way Simon high trousers c**t is ever going to be stopped. If more artist's turned round and told him to fu*k off he'd be stopped dead in his tracks, his pathetic wannabe talentless cretins would have nothing to butcher and we'd be rid of this shit X Factor once and for all.
Well done Journey.

We'd better be careful here. Spooky, Gary5150 and myself all agreeing on the same topic...
Some people might get the idea we're ganging up on Simon Cowell.

Good! I applaud anyone who has the cajones (sp) to take on this person at his own game. He and his TV shows are without doubt the greatest threat to live music and young bands making it in the already cutthroat world that is the music industry!

Oh and the money he's making from these shows, I don't think he's gonna be too upset if a few people on a Kiss forum have a pop at him...

Check out the post Nick gave us about that 11 year old kid playing Paul Gilbert stuff on the guitar...or that post a while back about that 10 year old kid playing Crazy Train with Ozzy. Now THAT is talent, not the splodge and dross that is unearthed every year only to be sent back to the nothingness whence they came and trying to get into nightclubs for free and saying do you know who I am to people who don't give a shit after Cowell and his monkeys have squeezed them dry for all they can be milked for from a blind and stupid sheep filled public.
And can I also ask, since when did Amanda Holden, Danni Minogue or Mrs Arsely Cole have the slightest bit of talent to cast judgement upon others lack of talent ????

Don't forget 'Celebrity Trolley Dolly'.

When will it end? When the people of the UK start turning off their TV's and go outside to do something less boring instead! (Copyright Why Don't You?)

However as a nation of couch potatoes these shows appeal to many people and unfortunately the minority suffer. Ask yourself this. When was the last time ITV produced a TOP NOTCH Drama show such as 'The Casebook/Adventures etc of Sherlock Holmes'? They don't anymore as it costs too much. Reality TV is CHEAP compared to these type of shows. Plus they feed on the voyueristic nature of us all.

Sad but true.

Rant over.
Now back to thread. Congratulations to Journey. Let's hope this is the start of some decent classic rock hitting the charts again...

This isn't STRICTLY (pun) true....

In order for the track to be used permission must be obtained from ALL THREE writers....

I found out from a contact at Sony that, in this particular case, Steve Perry said YES (   ) but Neal Schon & Jonathan Cain both saw sense and said NO 8) 8)
