However as a nation of couch potatoes these shows appeal to many people and unfortunately the minority suffer. Ask yourself this. When was the last time ITV produced a TOP NOTCH Drama show such as 'The Casebook/Adventures etc of Sherlock Holmes'? They don't anymore as it costs too much. Reality TV is CHEAP compared to these type of shows. Plus they feed on the voyueristic nature of us all.

Sad but true.

In order for the track to be used permission must be obtained from ALL THREE writers....

I found out from a contact at Sony that, in this particular case, Steve Perry said YES ( ) but Neal Schon & Jonathan Cain both saw sense and said NO
