It is a good solid album.

UK DATES! UK DATES!
I've not heard the Unbreakable or Humanity, but this - takes me back to 1980-1985 period of Scorps .... hard rock anthems and powerful ballads ... Lorelei (sp) is my fave track at the mo ...

The track SLY, is this track about Klaus's real life daughter?

I thought it was from a story that matthias jabs told.

Oh Humanity is really good. Try and get it if you can.

In the latest Classic Rock Rudolph Schenker says the Scorpions will hit the UK in the Autumn.

Amazed that no one's yet to recommend 'Tokyo Tapes.' One of my fave live albums during my misspent youth. Went to see them again at Hammy Odeon on their penultimate tour and got talking to people on the tube afterwards who had no idea who Uli Roth was. There was a real audience divide that year between those who recognised classic Scorps stuff like 'Pictured Life,' 'We'll Burn the Sky' etc. and those who were only familiar with relatively newer stuff. I thought Uli's return was awesome, even if Mathias Jabs (an excellent guitar player in his own right) looked a bit miffed at having to play 2nd billing on a hanful of songs. But anyway, Tokyo Tapes is top tackle!

Thanks for your recommendation ...
I've just ordered Humanity and Unbreakable from here (scroll down to Scorps section)
http://www.destinyrocks.com/section/s" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bargain price too ....

I think I switched off from Scorps because of Wind of Change .... akin to Extreme's More than Words - the song was everywhere.

Humanity is the album the Scorps toured - supporting Priest in 2005? - brill set at Manc's Apollo.

Wind of change is a fantastic ballad, even more so that it was written about the Berlin wall and the end of the Cold war so it was more than just a song that was looking for sales like More than words, a lot of German people hold the song in great regard.

Crazy World the album that it is from is actually a very good record, better than Savage Amusement before it and probably the best album until Unbreakable which was 2004.

Anyway after listening to the new album now for a while I have to say it is fantastic, and IMO better than Sonic Boom - production is way better too.

Animal Magnetism came yesterday.

The Zoo - awesome. One of those songs I feel like i've known forever but don't recall ever hearing before.

In Trance/Virgin Killer to come next.
