This is high on my festival wish list, need to see TS again. It's the cheapest one as well so I will probably be doing it.

After the Kiss gigs (ten in a year wtf?) and HighVoltage weekend, i wouldn't even dare to mention it to Mrs BK! I'd love to go though, so i'll be entering a few comps! :D

Very Tempted to see Argent with Russ Ballad back in the band. Have seen Argent/Zombies tour manytimes over past 6 years, but never with Russ who is one the truly great song writers....

Would love to do Bloodstock - but funding might be an issue. I've just lost £8k a year after resigning from one of my political jobs. Have to try and replace it post May.

Its a good festival - i was there last year - compact and the main stage lineup was great and the fact they give unsigned bands a chance. Booze is pricey.

They only let you take one crate into the camping area. That is a rip off.

Bet i can get about a crate into my underpants. Snuck in 10 cans and a glass bottle of summit into the arena at download last year. It pays to to fat anyways... AND wear leggings! :D

Getting into the arena with beer is easy.

Stubbies fit nicely into a pringles tube - works every time. Just carrying 20 packs of pringles is a bit suspicious

Was thinking about starting a Bloodstock thread on this forum so used the search and found this one, even if it hasn't seen any traffic for a couple of months! Good to see a few of you considering coming along - for what it's worth I am on the Bloodstock team and have been since waaaay back in 2001 when we did our first festival to around 700 people at Derby Assembly Rooms- amazing to think how far we've come since then!

So if anyone has any comments, queries, observations suggestions or questions about the festival then I guess I would be in a good position to answer/address them

Hello Maverick, I am considering this - but (always a but) ... thinking of only doing Twisted Sister day .... I attended the year that Sebastian Bach was there.
Will you be selling day tickets?

I wish you all the best with this festival .... independants vs the corporate festivals .....
So many festivals competing for the same pot of cash.
