20 years ago this line up would have been great, but the bands as they are now - it's a stinker.

Agreed, it's bad enough sitting through one of them these days, let alone all four !! Still I'm sure thousands will be wetting themselves over the prospect, Hope they have a great time. :D

I've been wearing an incontinent nappy for the last four-five weeks.
HairyChin - if you still lived in Luton - think of the money you can make - b&b accom from thrash metal herberts like me

This takes me back to:-

1986 - MetallicA/AnthraX, September, Cardiff St David's Hall
1987 - AnthraX, February, London's Hammy O
1987 - Megadeth/Flotsam & Jetsam, March, London's Hammy O
1987 - Slayer/Malice, April, Manchester Apollo
1987 - AnthraX/Testament, November, Hanley Victoria Hall

Crap how could I forget - Anthrax & MetallicA at Donington 1987 too.

Went this year and enjoyed the whole Sonisphere experience event though bands including Maiden didnt really doit for me.

hoping to avoid it this year depednet on family who may want to go, as I have no interest in any of the bands announced.
