Re: Sonisphere
20 years ago this line up would have been great, but the bands as they are now - it's a stinker.
DEATH TO FALSE METAL

None of the summer festivals have any appeal yet
Re: Sonisphere
Agreed, it's bad enough sitting through one of them these days, let alone all four !! Still I'm sure thousands will be wetting themselves over the prospect, Hope they have a great time.Gojira1975 wrote:20 years ago this line up would have been great, but the bands as they are now - it's a stinker.

This takes me back to:-
1986 - MetallicA/AnthraX, September, Cardiff St David's Hall
1987 - AnthraX, February, London's Hammy O
1987 - Megadeth/Flotsam & Jetsam, March, London's Hammy O
1987 - Slayer/Malice, April, Manchester Apollo

Re: Sonisphere
Went this year and enjoyed the whole Sonisphere experience event though bands including Maiden didnt really doit for me.
hoping to avoid it this year depednet on family who may want to go, as I have no interest in any of the bands announced.
