Google redirect virus!!

Any one know how to remove this manually.

Ive ran AVG, Trend micro house call & ESET online scan ,they between them found a few infected files but i still have the problem of my searches being redirected occasionally.

Any clues.

Try using Malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

See if that helps...

You may also need to edit MSCONFIG and remove the Trojans start up entry.

Steve i go to system configuration then click the start up tab
i got 1 items with the wording NVCPL RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WI HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENT VERSION.
Do i untick that.

Probably a left over from the virus, get yourself CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and see if that will clear the registry entry that is causing this.

Failing that System Restore is your best friend...... but go back 2 restore points as the virus may well have hidden itself in the most recent.

You should clear all restore points after you know you are clean, and start with a fresh copy.
