I think they are a guilt pleasure to most rock fans.. Reminds me a little in the 80 s not many would admit to liking Queen, but of course most did...!and now the brilliance of Queen stands out......As it should..!!!

Sorry I Digress (Alan Partridge) comparing The Darkness and Queen is a little.... Wrong

Never understood the 'Guilty Pleasure' thing... I like what I like & could give a damn what anyone else thinks so I have no 'guilty pleasures' 8)

The Darkness though - I just don't get it. Annoying frontman with horrible vocals and some average riffs behind him... :?

A major reason I didn't do Download Friday night - or I would have been tempted to throw bottle(s) filled with ??? at the stage.

Perhaps my feelings stem from 2002-2003 when I saw them on every big tour happening in the UK and that they were all over the press - you could not escape them.

Justin, just gets on my nerves - his latest image - a psycho Johnny Depp - Pirates of the Caribean ... wa*ker.

Glad you Fried Alive had a great night and have great photos.
