Huddersfield Town set to appoint Simon Grayson as manager
Former Leeds United manager Simon Grayson is to become manager of League One promotion contenders Huddersfield Town, BBC Sport understands.

The former Aston Villa and Leicester City defender was sacked by Leeds owner Ken Bates just three weeks ago.

Huddersfield dismissed manager Lee Clark last week, despite lying fourth in the division.

Prior to defeat by Charlton in November, Clark presided over a club-record run of 43 league games unbeaten.

On Saturday Leeds confirmed former QPR boss Neil Warnock was to become their new manager .

Grayson guided Leeds to promotion from League One to the Championship in his first full season at the club, before fininishing seventh in their first season back in the Championship.
It's be ironic if Huddersfield came up at the expense of Leeds...

I would agree AVB needs time to rebuild Chelsea. I guess it depends whether Roman & the fans have the patience...interesting times ahead.

Only if it is for Jose to return. Otherwise stick with him for 6 more years and see if he can out gun Arsenals recent record.

Chelsea's problem is Roman. Too much interference from him.

cardiff's peanalties where not much better in the semis against palace, thats 2 big penalties in a row miller has missed , and the great chance he had to win it in the last few mins of normal time.

but in all fairness most of the football and chances where liverpool cant understand why he started with carroll over bellamy though, and why suarez didnt take a pen ???, the only bad news for liverpool was the great arsenal comeback yesterday a spurs win there would have made 4th place and champions league football really open
