Van Halen's latest is fantastic - highly recommended.
Also, there is a MONSTER on it's way.
The last 2 albums by Accept have been great too
Great.....try absolutely mind blowing. Now that is some true hard rock/metal right there.
Can't take the classics away from him but so glad they carried on without Udo. Blood Of The Nations is ACCEPT's 'Back In Black' killer from start to finish. The new album is killer too.

Assuming I won't die in some fatal accident tomorrow. KISS will always be the core of my music collection but I would love to get into some new blood!
Easy choice then ALTER BRIDGE... SIMPLY THE BEST AROUND. 3 grand albums that you wont get tired of.
Who is gonna save you
When I'm gone?
Who'll watch over you?
Who will give you strength
When you're not strong?
Who'll watch over you
When I've gone away?
Black Stone Cherry
Shinedown
Buckcherry
Halestorm
and a big shout out for The Treatment - one of the best up and coming British bands I have heard for a long time.. I'll also give Heaven's Basement and Jettblack a big thumbs up too.

Fine choices, but Buckcherry are nearly as old as the person who asked for advice on new groups
That Led Zeppelin are pretty good, and i hear that that nice Keith Moon from The Who has been asked to play this year's olympics. Two more up and coming bands to keep an eye on?
