Yes, it is your opinion & you're right everybody has them, especially in today's society, though some people have the common sense to keep their stupid & utterly pointless opinions to themselves.
Not being a musician (apart from being a 5 fingered trouser flautist) you are obviously completely unaware of why you always seem to wind people up let alone know absolutely nothing about what it is you have an opinion about. Therefore I'll treat your 'opinion' with the contempt it thoroughly deserves.

Yes, there are a lot of rubbish out there who just jump on the band wagon but if there is a call for it who are you to say they're lazy ?

Opinions are like Assholes, we've all got them...people don't get your knickers in a twist over DTK. I have seen them myself as well many times. I enjoy them but I am not a raving fanboy.

I'm using DTK as an example as I've worked with them for a few years and know what goes on, I just struggle to understand how you think tribute bands are lazy as they often travel hundreds of miles over the space of 48 hours

I used to work for Kiss Forever Band when i lived in Hungary (for about 5 years) and we used to do things like 5 gigs-5 countries -5 days...No sleep ,s*itty places to sleep and 100's of miles between gigs just to play to between 50 to 500 people...,but ,you know what ,I wouldn't have swapped it for the world , because if I couldn't see the real thing , I saw my mates every night working their asses off and the crowd going POTTY!!...LONG LIVE TRIBUTE BANDS , (by the way I have of course seen DTK many times as well... please carry on the good work chaps...)..

Talon are an Eagles tribute band in a similar vein to DTK in that they set up when there was no Eagles in the same way as DTK did the makeup when there was no KISS in makeup.
