Re: Olympics!
Thought the ceremony was awesome and am enjoying the games.
I might try and sneak into the Velodrome for the mens sprint if I can be bothered to fix the puncture on my bike.

Aye this was indeed hilarious. Thought the ceremony was really good, although I did fall asleep around Denmark! Who knew there where so many countries around the globe that partake in the Olympics?!!?!

Re: Olympics!
Well, a few years ago there were some real naysayers on this board about the Olympics, I have always known it would be a huge success and people would be fired up. I have been taking the lead for Cambs County Council on the Olympics for about 4 years, so I have always seen this coming (great role by the way).
The Tory MP that moaned is an arse and the Daily Mail is a shit newspaper. But - credit to Jeremy Hunt (who needs all the help he can get) who made the decision to double the budget for the opening ceremony.
I am off to the Olympic Park today to see the water polo. Can't bloody wait - I saw the park a couple of times in construction, so really looking forward to seeing the finished version.

Just seen an interview with Mr Wiggins.. What a humble gracious guy he is , and when he was told by Lineker to show his (gold) medal to the crowd outside the studio he did it and said" Now I know what the Beatles felt like".. as Fried Alive would say.... "QUALITY"!
