After the, frankly, spectacular show at Rock City on Saturday when they played through all of the still brilliant "Earth Vs.." record, any old Wildhearts, the new Hey! Hello! and Mutation things with bits of Silver Ginger 5 and Supershit 666 thrown in as well.
"Hi, I'm Rich Pelley. I'm on the guest list."

I saw the show at Manchester on the Friday night. It was indeed spectacular.

So you would've been part of the audience who voted to hear "Geordie In Wonderland" over "Nothing Ever Changes But The Shoes"? Shameful! :D

It's a no brainer really, play that record from start to finish and you've got a cracking night. I'll try not to leave it another nineteen years before I see them again...

I voted for 'Shoes'!!! What was difficult was 'I Wanna Go' vs '29x the Pain'!

Wouldn't have had any trouble there as "I Wanna Go" was the point where I started to lose The Wildhearts. In fact one of best songs of the encore was "Naivety Play" which I thought I'd never heard, turns out it's on "phuq"...Lost my copy of that 15 years ago, might need to replace it.

We voted against Naivety Play in favour of Dangerlust.

This was Friday's setlist... http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-wildh ... 8f491.html
