Ok let's start a new rumour (and that's all it is!)

Kiss (with Ace) to headline the Saturday night of the 2008 Download festival...

Why??? If we start now maybe they (the organisers of Download) can get Kiss sorted out sooner rather than later.... :?

I've asked the organizers of Rock n Blues to chase Ace for 2008, so if you want to lobby RnB i think it's more viable than Download.

I was thinking bout not bothering with Download 08 and going to Sweden rocks. As the organisation and security drove me fuc*ing insane this year... couldn't relax all fuc*ing week(end).

Ja, but Kiss would change my mind in a second.

Depressing, as we ALL KNOW it won't happen... and i'm sure i'm repeating what alot of you have said in the past. Blah.

As for posts... i seem to be a little behind the "2000 man" *bu-dummmm-chish!*

Ace should play the Party stage at Wacken...that would be AWESOME!

Great festival..far better than shiteload.
Chosen ones......look at the DTT blog at http://www.rockgodz666.com for added hilarity and comment, and the occasional bad phone pic at gigs..

I've heard that Wacken is a lot better than Download. Having been to neither (last Doni trip was in '96... :wink: ) any reasons why this is...? :?

Wacken is great because:

Its all metal...no shite pretending to be metal
Its £70 not £170
Organisation is brilliant: Toilets, showers are all hygenic and cleaned
Everyone is a metal head, not a emo/indy/trendyboy etc
The Biergarten is open from 7am til 6am
Headbangers Ballroom
The Metal Market
the atmosphere is brilliant, no one steals from your tent, and your not sleeping in shite..

The bands may not be as premier (ie this year Dony had Crue and Maiden, Wacken didnt really have the top headliner: reformed Immortal, In Flames, Blind Guardian) but the crack and atmosphere is far nicer...

Give me Wacken every time!
