Well, Deuce wanted top spot again, and this week got it back from starchildmark with a 13 point haul including 5 points for guessing the correct Chelsea scoreline. Scarecrow also kept up the pressure on the leading pack with 13 points, that late Man City winner for 2-1 gifting him a 5 pointer and moved him up to 2nd. Twix was back to form with 15 points where the only fixture that didn't bring points was the shock Bolton result. Megson for England! Largebloke felt he could do better and was rewarded with a giant 16 points that included the correct Portsmouth scoreline and also benefited from that late Man City goal. I shocked myself, frankly, by also getting 16 points, although the 5 points for guessing the Villa 3-0 scoreline was a gift!

Good to see Paul Jewel back in management, just a shame no one bigger than Derby could attract him. He can do well on a limited budget and (not being unkind) players of lesser ability. I actually think Derby came up a year too early. But they should be able to hold an ailing Sunderland.
Portsmouth's game at home to Everton should be a cracker from what highlights I've seen, with neither side being able to get the upper hand.
Steve Bruce will be in for a tough first game in charge against former England supremo Sven Goran Ericsson, and I think City will pick up only their second away win of the season so far.
Deuce
EDIT : Pulled this from a note pad file that I did this morning, prior to the news about H Rednap , but I'll stick by my prediction.
