Are these any good live?

Musically - AC/DC, visually - reminds me of nwobhm/early thrash pioneers.

Have the album (Aussie import) played it to death when I got it and now it's in the pile - must listen to when I have nothing better to do.

I saw them in Cardiff on the opening night of their tour and thought they were tremendous. Just a wall of amps, a bottle of Jack, and a slab of Stella for a 'show'. Bloody loud too. They basically did the debut album in a different order with a new track chucked in for good measure. Did I say they were loud? Loads of energy on-stage - even as far as the singer cracking open a can of Stella with his head before launching it into the demanding throng. 2 support acts made it lots of value for money, but getting my Ticketbastard tickets from the venue was a farce.

I saw Airbourne last night. The lead singer is one crazy mo fo!

He did the trick with the cans banging on his head, and then proceeded into the crowd over to the lighting/mixing pit and then climbed up to the balcony to perform a solo! He must have had a crate of Red Bull before going on stage, he had so much energy.

Good gig, very loud!

His quote of the night...'as long as we are here and you guys are too, Rock 'n' Roll will never die'

Stone Gods were good, lots of attitude coming over from their lead singer. His quote...' f**k Detroit Rock City, it's Nottingham Rock City!'

I didn't get Stone Gods. They were okay with the odd Wildhearts type song but really if a couple of them weren't in the Darkness they'd being doing covers in pubs.

Saw Airbourne twice on the festival circuit this year, they were awesome both times, really punching above their weight.

That's why I'm thinking about the Junction in Cambridge next week. They aren't going to be playing small venues for long.

i thought Airborne were shit, just over 1 hour for the main band of the night is a joke, tribute bands do a longer set  the sound was distorted,to loud for the venue, the singer screamed like a injured cat, couldn't understand a word he said. The bass player might as well unplugged, couldnt hear him, huge let down for me. thank foook for Stone Gods. :D
