I don@t think it's a pain .... Most of, if not all of the other forums i visit you cant see anything without 1st logging in !!
You can't please some people all about security .
It was a goos idea well done whoever changed the way we log in.

I dont mind logging in to be honest.
I have seen that most forums are private and you have to register or log in to read.
I like the idea.
