Tallon, Limehouse Lizzy, Bootleg Beatles, Australian Pink Floyd

However it's the ones who spring up for artists that are just breaking through such as

Now move along, nothing to see here.....

Thin Lizzy are still going too and very actively touring

What about The Eagles? I know Joe Walsh has a new solo cd out but do they still tour?
Oh & just to stay on topic ( ) this stinks that Meatloaf feels threatened by a fan paying homage to him!

Talon are an Eagles tribute band in a similar vein to DTK in that they set up when there was no Eagles in the same way as DTK did the makeup when there was no KISS in makeup.

Fair enough, however Waters etc are still touring & playing PF music live so your point is still negated in my opinion.
Would you also agree that Dio still exist as a band

Didn't Limehouse Lizzy start up well before Thin Lizzy got back together ?

I don't know but many people argue that TL are a tribute band themselves as Phil Lynott can never be replaced.

Eagles were not touring and not recording from 1980-94 and like DTK I believe Talon started during this period, filling the gap to some extent.

Considering RJD is sadly no longer with us then No. What point you're trying to make I don't know or care. You don't care for tribute bands. Fair do's. Others on here do and once again you've made a sweeping generalisation to the chagrin of many of the forum members. Again this is just my very own opinion. Feel free to take offense if you wish.

Richard Wright is no longer with us so No Pink Floyd.

Then again you are generalising that I implied ALL tribute bands, but hey if you don't want to read a full sentence......and think before you get all fanboy on me
