Olympics!

Post by madmark »

I just thought I would start this because , to be honest... i am really quite proud that the UK has got the chance to show off a little bit. It's just building up to the opening ceremony and it's looking pretty good.
I know there will be some people on this Forum who will whinge at the amount of money spent ETC.. But c'mon , it's going to be fun!!! (Apart from the mens football    ) Bring on the ladies beach volleyball ,  :D

As a life long glam fan to have Tiger feet featured was amazing.
Whole opening ceremony was fantastic, although the teams took along time to get in.

This is going to be a fab 17 days, can't wait to see our athletes grab all those medals.

One downside some Tory MP and apparently Daily Mail claiming it was left Wing rubbish. Very disappointed they choose to be so negative, shame on them.

Come on Cav this morning and all the others

Yeah i thought that bit was really good.
I also loved the bit, where team GB walked into the stadium, and the camera panned to her Maj, who was picking her fingernails and studying her hands LOL anyone else notice that ??? LOL
Bless her, it was way past her bed time, bet she's sick of being asked to attend these things, especially after the Jubilee, i bet all she wants to do, is have an early night, slippers on, and cup of tea and biscuits before bed lol.
