Hnnnnnnn! I'm impressed! Just got done with a dose of Who myself. "Who's Next" is peerless, but there's just something about the "Who Are You" album I love recently.Frehley75 wrote:"Who's Next".
I've moved from that to Vinnie Vincent's 'Guitarmageddon' 'Guitars From Hell' or whatever it was called. Stuff like Full Shred and Nuke It. A complete nutter of course, but fun with it.
Re: What are you listening to right now...?
Thanks! Actually I've been listening to loads of old Who recently, "Sell Out", "A Quick One" and a boot from Woodstock comprised mainly of "Timmy" or whatever it was called. The soundtrack to that is one I've avoided forever because the film versions were awful (and still are, confirmed by another viewing recently) but it's now top of the "CD's To Actually Buy When I Can Afford To Go Back In A Record Shop (Probably After June)" list.Dwight Fry wrote:Hnnnnnnn! "Who's Next" is the one though, not least for "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Behind Blue Eyes". Wasn't there a rumour Paul Stanley rehearsed this for the "LTW" tour? There's not much tat amongst the rest either. I've just "found" the Deluxe Version with a few more added tracks and a show from the Young Vic in 1971. Nice.
Townsend though. Where's the book?

The deluxe version of "live at leeds" is well worth the money with the bonus disc being a live version of Tommy "sparks" & "amazing journey" rock! I have got everything the Who have done including all the deluxe versions they truly are one of the greats!!!Frehley75 wrote:Thanks!
