I can remember everything about that day perfectly...

Horrid day, changed the world forever in good and bad ways. I cannot imagine what it was like, although I do drive trains on London Underground and work on the Piccadilly Line, which picked up the worst casualties on 7/7/05. My thoughts are with our cousins across the pond today.

A truely shocking day.

I remember coming in from work and seeing the news and watching in total disbelief and horror.

There are no words to describe how it made me feel and still does when I see those images.

Remember this like yesterday and the events of the full day as it happened. Even watching a documentary last night touched a raw nerve after all this time - seven years ago already. Still two wars going on though, have to remember that too whether we agree or disagree with the politics of it all

I did mate - very touching it was too in many parts. Will also be watching the prog tonight on Ch.4 about the faker woman to see how people reacted to her story

Yes. Very touching. That lawyer fella amazed me. Oh and the asian lass on reception who thought the first planes impact was the piano being moved!

Heart wrenching stuff. Tonights show also intrigues me.

There's a book called "102 MINUTES" by Jim Dwyer and Kevin Flynn, Which logs the accounts of survivors and telephone calls from those above the impact zone. Also accounts from the fire dept.Police dept. and the firemen who went inside and tried to climb the stairs!
It is probably one of the most harrowing and moving books I've ever read, it left me physically and emotionally drained.
