Sorry matey but I have to disagree with you Native tongue is streets ahead of albums like Look what the cat dragged in or open up and say ahh, actually Flesh and blood kicks the crap out of those albums but they were still good albums.
But look at their output now since cc has been back in the band Hollyweird was crap and nowhere near as brill as Native tongue or crack a smile.
As far as live performances with cc Deville he plays just aweful check out youtube.
He just solos all over the songs.
Dont get me wrong I dont dislike CC but he just sounds aweful now.
Hence why I say NT and CAS are superior albums.
Hey no worries. NT is a great CD, just doesn't sound anything like 'Classic' Poison, like I said previous it's a very Bluesy Serious album, but then it was released post Grunge and Nirvana when all the hair bands changed or died...
I agree the post CC reunion stuff has been poor (and that CC is awful live) but you also have to look at Bret Michaels and his solo stuff/Rock of Love show which has taken his eye of the 'Poison' ball...
Cat Dragged and Open up are Poison doing what they do best IMO...
Agreed!

I think they ran out of ideas after the first 3 albums. The world turned and they were forgotten.
I've just been giving the Metallica album another try. It's still okay-ish.....
Just play the bass you bell-end!!

While it is a fine album I just think it was the start of the decline...a few of the songs sound too similar to past songs. Like you've already heard them...but done better.
Anyway...I'm playing it again right now!!!...
