Interesting. Quite a novelty to have a RATT tribute band.
Sid Vicious is looking well these days. :D

For me the vocals aren't bad but the backing vocals need work.

U call that a 'tribute'??  its really stretching it.. theyre a covers band til they start to LOOK something like the band they sound like... then they COULD be loosely described as a tribute band....

(like putting a Rolls Royce badge on a Trabant - "well, it's still a car".. lol )

NOT taking anything away from their musical abilities, however!

I agree to an extent but cover bands have morphed into tribute bands but don't take this personal, the look of KISS is easier to attain as a cover/tribute band as the makeup can hide quite a bit.

That explains why there are so many shit-looking KISS tributes then....

To be honest, the difference between a cover band & a tribute band is attention to detail.
Identical instruments, clothes, choreography, signature moves, instrument playing-styles, between song raps etc are what seperates them from cover bands...

Wanna see how much 'getting the look of KISS' has cost over the last 20 years?
   Of course, Austrian Crystal Rhinestone are a thousand a penny...

PEOPLE call cover bands 'tribute' bands, cus of a general ignorance of the term(s)...they dont just morph - they only morph when the covers band spends cash on getting the 'look' as well as the sound...

But, as I said, NOT taking anything away from their musical abilities........ I just wish people would refrain from referring to a band of T shirts and jeans wearers as a 'tribute' when the origianl band wore far more elaborate/'considered' garb, and/or were/are visually more distinctive (hair, height, eye colour, facial features what have you...).....

Yes, it DOES rankle: Many bands (like DTK) were 'tributes' from the beginning.. they didnt just 'morph'...

I think you have lost me a bit in translation.

What used to be cover bands now take an even lazier route into umpteen average tribute bands for artists such as Abba, Robbie Williams, The Darkness and many others as well because they can make more money doing this.

I have even noticed that there is also lazy advertising there's a venue near me who advertise the actual artist, not a tribute band  some people will believe anything.

I meen even comedians have tribute acts now.........
