Goodbye Bigman.

Post by Roger H »

Sad news that Clarence Clemons has lost his fight for life after a massive stroke last week. I know he and his employer are not to everyone's taste on here but no one can deny the talent and stage presence Clarence had. I've been lucky enough to have seen several Springsteen gigs and they would have been greatly diluted if the Bigman wasn't there.
I'm now going to listen to the sax solo on Jungleland and probably bawl my eyes out. :(

A legend indeed.... saw him a couple of years ago at hard Rock Calling and though he played a blinder he wasn't well even then...

Very sad news. RIP.

What a great shame. He was the star of the E Street Band for me. Many memorable sax solo's & a truly huge stage presence.
