For all you Guitar Hero freaks out there here's some KISS related news for you:- - The forthcoming Guitar Hero 5 game will feature a KISS song, currently not announced but perhaps one of the re-recorded songs from last year?
- The brand new Guitar Hero Greatest Hits is out now and features a version of Rock & Roll All Nite that now has drums & vocal support!
- Gene's Guitar Hero axe bass will be availabe in the UK from August

10 years of KISStory in Belgium is being celebrated in style. The 5 man tribute band from Belgium is pulling out all the stops on Sunday November 1st. At the Hippodrome in Kuurne, Belgium they plan a Kiss expo with special guest LYDIA CRISS, the usual worldwide kiss dealers accompanied by a rock and metal market and this from 14h00 onwards.
Lydia will be bringing along her fantastic coffee table book 'SEALED WITH A KISS'. Your chance if you don't have it already to purchase it at the expo. There will of course be a meet and greet moment and a Q and A round with LYDIA. Tickets can be purchased online and from halfway July at several ticket agencies in Belgium. Prices for the expo are 20 €.

 I wanted to be in touch with a preview clip from this week's special 1-hour episode of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels", airing Sunday, 6/21, at 9pm on A&E. This week, in "Godfather Gene", Gene and Shannon hit New Jersey to be the Godfather to a friend's newborn grandson and Shannon inadvertently starts a feminist uprising amongst the subservient wives when she refuses to fall into line with tradition.

I wanted to be in touch with preview clips from this week?s episodes of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels". This week, two new episodes will air back-to-back, airing at 9:00 and 9:30pm Sunday, 6/14 (US only). First up is "Memphis Blues", where Nick learns the blues first hand when an innocent business trip with Dad results in him taking the stage on the spot where the legendary Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil 100 years before. That will be followed by "Fireman Gene", where Gene visits his mom on Long Island only to learn she has volunteered to him to host a fundraiser for the local fire department&and train with them. In the month of May of this year, Dan Bach will be celebrating 30 years of being a KISS fan, here's his experience in his own words:- I happened to be watching the BBC’s Top of the Pops programme and up came the video for I was made for loving you, the stage show, the makeup and the parents – What the hell? sealed it for me – been a fan ever since. People ask me constantly “Why Kiss, Why the makeup, Why this & Why that”? I’ve had to face jokes, sarcasm, comments and physical abuse over my liking of KISS. I defend them now as vigoursly as I did in the beginning. They are “my band” – the makeup, the costumes, the concert shows, the album sleeves artwork & packaging and the music all play their part in the jigsaw; that is my fascination in this band. |

New KISS ‘Elder’ Period Footage Surfaces
Previously unreleased “outtake” footage from KISS’s ill-fated ‘Music From The Elder’ period has surfaced on YouTube. This is the first time in nearly 13 years that any new ‘Elder’ era master tapes have been discovered. The clip, which is dated January 5, 1982, features band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley (along with their then manger Bill Aucoin) talking about King Kong and former KISS road manager Sean Delaney as they prepare to tape a segment for a short-lived CBS-TV series. |
