Trevor, Hotter Than Hell] As many of you probably know next year is the 30th anniversary of KISS ALIVE! and it seemed a shame to let this slip by without a celebration so we decided to throw a party! This will be the 2005 UK Konvention 0n Sunday 11th September (30 years to the day KISS ALIVE! was released) and the venue will be JB's in Dudley. Among the guests of honour will be Eddie Kramer who will be talking about and answering questions on the ALIVE! sessions and his work with KISS over the years. In addition Hotter than Hell will be staging a special one off performance of the entire ALIVE! album from cover to cover in the original 1975 Dressed to Kill costumes as well as some bonus gems from the KISS catalogue. It should be a night to remember! At this stage we are interested in hearing from stall holders wanting to be involved, please e-mail Trevor at acefrehley@btinternet.com, more details to follow! |

TotalRock.com via Richard Jackson] Kiss: No Euro Shows -- Kiss fans in the UK and Europe, prepare for some disappointing news. The band have apparently abandoned plans to tour later in the year. This is because they don't seem able to generate enough interest among promoters to get what they want. K.UK Note: I've also just heard this about a possible German show (take all tour news with a pinch of salt tho', just like we have been doing for the past 4 years...):- [From: Gary Banton] |
| Gene was on 'Top Ten
Spunked Moments' on Scuzz over the weekend, this hets repeated
regularily. Gene came 6th because of his 4500 shags and was
interviewed briefly, it was filmed when he was over here
recently. |

SpaceAceUK] As you may have noticed, DRESSED TO KILL's website is closing down. This is on no part any indication that the end is nigh for the world's longest running KISS tribute band or for any other reason that may be floating around. The truth is a new, bigger, better site is under construction at this very moment and should be ready very shortly. In the meantime, DTK would like to dispell any rumours that any of its members are leaving,(either emmigrating or pursuing other projects). DTK are as firmly committed to their future as they have always been. WITH the CURRENT MEMBERS of the bandDTK would like to say a huge "THANK YOU" to everybody who visited their website, and left some great post's on the dressing room chat boards. Although the DTK website is closing down, you can still get in touch with them regarding shows,
bookings, merchandise etc. The contact is " kisstribute@aol.com" |

| The setlist for last
nights show in Perth (Australia) had a few surprises in it,
especially Unholy, GGRARTY, I Pledge Allegiance and Tears Are
Falling. I know a lot of people still aren't happy with it, but
personally I think it's a massive step in the right direction,
some well chosen songs now that Eric is 'allowed' to play as
himself. Here's the full setlist:-
Creatures of the Night |
| [From:
