Re: Taste Of Chaos tour

Had a great night at the SECC in Glasgow seeing the Taste Of Chaos tour thanks to a certain Dan Bach. Halestorm's drummer reminded me of Animal from The Muppets, and I agree that the girl's voice is amazing. The music didn't really grab me all that much, if I remember I'll have a look for them on Sp...

Re: Tonights dinner........

No fecking idea, but it'll be a takeaway of some description as have come home to a complete lack of functioning kitchen so can't even heat some soup or a ready meal. I could boil the kettle and make a pot noodle but I need something a bit more substantial than that kind of rubbish.

Re: DTK dates... 2011!

Glad I popped for a flying visit in my lunch break - now I know where The Box is in Crewe I'm even happier I've book my trip down for this show. I can highly recommend The Waverley (just around the corner) - comfy rooms, decent brekkie. The Royal used to be good, but the addition of a nightclub to t...

Re: Stourbridge

My initial impression of the support act was "style over substance" and they did not disappoint - too much time spent on their looks and attitude and not enough on the music. If I'm not working at the weekend I'll be sorting out my pics from the night. Think I have a rather good one of Mr ...

Re: Dressed To Kill - 2010 Giglist (part 2)

I use the Talbot Hotel which is right in the centre of Stourbridge and staggering distance from the River Rooms (they are on laterooms). I've never had any problems there but I know largebloke ran into a problem with his card being cloned by staff there a few years ago - it has however changed hands...

Re: Taking Dawn

Running very late passing comment on Taking Dawn, but after hating them on the first night I started to really enjoy their set and by Glasgow I was a fan. The boys are really down to earth and great fun - their accoustic set on the Sunday at Download was one of my highlights of the weekend!! Plus, t...

Re: Happy Birthday Scottish Connection!

Thanks for the birthday wishes peeps, had a typically boring day stuck at work, but was out with sis over the weekend of my birthday, and then decided to treat myself to a trip to Sheffield this weekend just past to complete my birthday celebrations with a DTK gig.

Re: KISS week - on Virgin Classic Rock

Hope it is better than the last one they did, I listened on and off that week and was lucky to hear 4 Kiss songs, including Crazy Crazy Nights and God Gave...

And btw, it is absolute classic rock not virgin these days!!
