Re: RIP neil armstrong
True hero the likes of which we wont see again, and sadly in today's world unless he had walked on the moon on the x-factor he wouldn't even get the credit he deserves. Watched this at 4 years old sat in my pj's, my first memory of anything. Got me into space and science fiction, sadly he will be r...

Re: JON LORD PASSES AWAY AGED 71
Very, very sad.
A true Gent and a musical legend. His sound was unique and so atmospheric...'A200', 'This Time Around' & of course 'Child In Time' being perfect examples.
Glad to have seen you live and had the pleasure to hear your genius.
RIP.

But in my time I have met people who were at the following KISS shows - ...

http://www.uproxx.com/webculture/2012/06/louis-c-k-has-already-sold-100000-tickets-for-his-new-comedy-tour/ Brilliant!!! So if he can do it, what's to stop any other band /artist from doing it? Put ticketbastard and all the other rip off agents out of business. I'd rather give my money directly to ...

Re: The Van Halen Thread
DLR sounds awful, dances awful and looks like a Grandad. Had to stop watchin. So sad cos they did some of the best shows I have EVER seen back in the day. Sometimes things sound be left alone . Bit like Kiss eh? That arguement could be made, yes! And I probably have done!!! You can replace b...

Re: Black Spiders Kiss Shirt
I went to see the awesome black spiders last night and heard a bit of gossip about Ace using a british backing band on his December dates. It's both interesting, and a bit worrying, that Ace doesn't seem to have these UK dates on his web site. Doesn't instil much confidence in him remembering tocom...

Re: Ticket Justice
While the charges are too much you have to remember that a part of the blame is the venues. To cut costs many use agents to sell their tickets rather than run a box office. These ticket agents don't do this as an act of charity so expect to be paid. Hence the booking fee. As you would expect this a...
