Those signatures are the real deal. Almost in the exact same place as my copy, always puzzled me why only Gene used a silver sharpie. Ace,s signature got noticeably worse as the day went on due to the special brew. Really was an unforgettable day,the moment the band entered the store was surreal to a young lad like me. The day didn't end after the signing as my mate and I decided to hit the Hilton. We were lucky enough to meet all the band later in the evening. Eric Carr was fantastic, down to earth and actually posed without make up with the creatures album covering his lower face. Paul was probably the least sociable but still polite. Gene surprised me,very talkative and he even brought out a gateaux for the remaining fans to eat...it was shite.Ace didn't show till late on,he was in great spirits that cackle is infectious. An amazing day meeting my heroes for the first time.Over 30 years later whenever I hear a creatures track I still get a tingle. Someone hurry up and invent that bloody time machine. Apologies for not using paragraphs can't find enter button on me device.

I was second in the queue that day at the HMV... I'll hunt my photos out and see what I can do....fab day.....the band were brilliant that day...I took my copy of The Originals along and they all signed it twice aside from Paul who didn't sign the booklet..(wanker..) then we went back to the Hilton..and Gene and his cake!!!!! ..and before that Eric came out and signed everything and posed for all our photos..there were about 8-10 of us ...great stuff..( i lost my job a couple of days later, as I lied about the reason I was off work...didn't give a shit....Ha Ha)...Shit , I've just read Acesmiddlefinger above...sorry....it's all true....
Ziggy played guitar...or was it Ronson?
