Eric's birthday.

Postby b.monkey4 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 10:29 am

As no one else has mentioned it, just thought we should take a mo to remember that Eric Carr would've been 66 a couple of days ago. Strangely enough (purely by chance) i'm in the midst of having my eric tattoo redone after 24 years as it's now getting pretty faded.
Anyway, many happy returns Eric!!!

It wasnt forgotten in this household.

Cant say I have ever heard a bad word about Eric, stories abound of his down to earth nature. Many of the older members of the forum myself included were lucky enough to meet him on numerous occasions. Always time for a chat, photo or autograph and he seemed to be over the moon to be the drummer in KISS. My most enduring image of him would be on the Animalize tour ,stood atop his drum kit, smile on his face, acknowledging the KISS army.

Even though he would have been 66 I still prefer to think of him in his prime.

Great drummer, sadly missed. Happy birthday Eric.
